a-STEP (advancing Social Inclusion through Technology and Empowerment) is an interdisciplinary, intersectoral pan-European and beyond, network which will enhance social inclusion and empowerment of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or Intellectual Disability (ID). Our efforts include: - Fostering collaboration between research and industry to create an interdisciplinary and translational approach for the achievement of improved outcomes in education and employment; - funding for young researchers' collaboration and networking; - maintaining an open-access resource platform for best and emerging practice, discussion, collaboration and to collect resources that may help developers and researchers; - help involve users in research and innovation.
